Maclay Gardens Tour

Wed., 5/5 10 – 11:30 a.m. Enjoy a relaxing ranger-led walking tour of beautiful Maclay Gardens. A masterpiece of floral architecture, the gardens feature a picturesque brick walkway, secret garden, reflection pool, walled garden, hundreds of azaleas, camellias, and other lovely plants and trees. The gardens were first planted in 1923 by Alfred and Louise Maclay when they purchased the property for their winter home. Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch to enjoy in the picnic area following the tour. There is plenty of room to social distance. Fee $5 upon registration plus $6 per vehicle upon admittance to the park on the day of the tour. (Carpooling is encouraged). Participants must wear masks. Limited space available.
