Have you ever wondered how places in our community get designated a historic site or space? Join us for an informative presentation by the Tallahassee Trust for Historic Preservation. Highlights will include Shannon Kuch, the Executive Director of the Tallahassee Trust for Historic Preservation, speaking about the Local Register of Historic Places. Also, a representative from the Tallahassee Historical Society will be speaking about some of the work they have done with local historic markers. Historic preservation enhances our community by linking us to our past and preserving our unique sense of place and history for future generations. Light refreshments provided. $5 donation.
