Sold Out 04 Paddle Mysterious Waters of the Wakulla

Join Coastal Plains Institute President Ryan Means for an awesome out and back paddling adventure on the marvelous Wakulla River. On a weekday, we will have the river mostly to ourselves. We will discuss local natural history and biodiversity of this world class first magnitude spring ecosystem. While we are at it, we will paddle with manatees, handle terrific turtles, and experience endless plants and animals. We will observe fossils from off the riverbed and learn about the prehistory of our region. Fee includes snacks and transportation from TSC. Wear sunscreen, insect repellent, hat, clothes that can get wet, and water shoes or sandals. Bring your own drinking water.
