The beautiful Gardens of the Big Bend (GBB) is a botanic garden nestled in the grounds of the UF/IFAS North Florida Research and Education Center (NFREC) in Quincy, FL. Its 11 individually themed gardens including 2 nationally accredited plant collections are in a beautiful setting of trees, shrubs, and planting beds linked by paths. Several trails lead to research gardens showcasing crape myrtle, magnolia, hydrangea, and many other plants. The themed gardens include a palm garden, heritage garden, shade garden, Jurassic Garden, native garden, dry garden, and more.
