The Grove Museum, an antebellum plantation which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has been inhabited by a series of strong, interesting women who made significant contributions to Tallahassee and Florida history. The Women’s History tour will focus on the different women who lived and worked at the site and discuss the evolution of women’s rights in American History. There will be an emphasis on the contributions of former site residents, Ellen Call Long, Reinette Long Hunt, and Mary Call Collins.
